In 2017, we bought our first home as newly-minted Appalachian State graduates on Quiet Grove Drive. Since then, we've built a family-business, raised 2 wonderful dogs, gotten to know some wonderful neighbors, and grown to love our community because of it's yearly events, numerous amenities and welcoming atmosphere.

We take our responsibilities as real estate agents very seriously, understanding that our homes are often the largest investment we'll make in our lives. Our goal is to maximize your equity and build appreciation values in our neighborhood over time.

Chris Warner

Growing up with a Realtor for a parent, it's safe to say that real estate has been a mainstay in my life for as long as I can remember, spending much of my childhood in model homes, or cars going from one community to another with my Mom, Debra Lafayette, to help people find their dream homes. In 2016, I made the decision to join my Mom’s team, The Lafayette Team (now at eXp Realty), and become a full-time real estate agent after graduating from Appalachian State University with a communications degree. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of helping numerous individuals, families, and investors find, or sell, their homes.

I also am an active real estate investor, specializing in fix-and-flip opportunities across the Midlands of South Carolina with a business partner, operating as AC Home Deals, LLC. I also have experience in real estate development and new construction building, having completed the remaining 7 homes in Brookhill Park, a quaint community located off of Park Road in Lexington, SC.

Through every transition in life, from buying or selling your first home, “forever” home, investment property, or the “right-sizing” home, I pride myself on holding my client’s hand through the sales process, and providing an experience so seamless and memorable that you’d consider me to be your Realtor for life! So many of my wonderful friendships I’ve built throughout my career began as a client relationship, something I am both thankful for and humbled by.

Mallory Warner

I can attribute the start of my enthusiasm for Real Estate to the day I learned my offer had been accepted on my first home - shortly after graduating college, at the age of 23, which was something I never thought would be possible so early in my life. Navigating the home-buying journey, I found my passion for the Real Estate sales process, and developed a desire to share the American Dream of Homeownership with as many people as I can!

In 2016, I graduated from Appalachian State University with an Accounting degree, and moved to Columbia to be close to family. Shortly after moving, I was given the opportunity to work for the #1 Builder in America, DR Horton, selling on-site in one of Columbia's premier resort lifestyle communities. Selling in a multi-price point, 900+ home community gave me vast experience in working with first-time homebuyers, retirees, Veterans, and anyone in-between. In my year-and-a-half there, I was able to assist over 100 families with purchasing their dream home, all while learning how homes are built from the ground up.

In March of 2018, I was ready to step outside the bounds of any single community, and joined my husband, Chris, and mother-in-law, Debi on The Lafayette Team. Over the past 4 years I have greatly enjoyed helping my clients buy and sell homes across the Greater Columbia Area, while building strong life-long friendships along the way!

I take pride in making what can typically be an extremely stressful experience fun, while also understanding it is both an emotional and financial decision, and often the largest purchase or sale that people make in their life.
